Piping.ptemp(tout='', tin='', **kwargs)

Defines the pipe wall temperatures in a piping run.

Mechanical APDL Command: PTEMP

Command default:

Assign uniform temperature bfunif to elements.

Parameters:

toutstr

Outer pipe wall temperature. If NONE, reset temperature specification to none ( bfunif will be assigned).

tinstr

Inner pipe wall temperature (defaults to TOUT ).

Notes

Defines the pipe wall temperatures in a piping run. These temperatures are assigned to the elements as they are generated. (See the RUN command description in Archived Commands.)
