Element type

These PREP7 commands define the type of elements to be used in the model.

Mapdl.dof([lab1, lab2, lab3, lab4, lab5, ...])	Adds degrees of freedom to the current DOF set.
Mapdl.elbow([transkey, tol, dof, cons1, ...])	APDL Command: ELBOW
Mapdl.et([itype, ename, kop1, kop2, kop3, ...])	Define a local element type from the element library.
Mapdl.etchg([cnv])	Changes element types to their corresponding types.
Mapdl.etcontrol([eltech, eldegene])	Control the element technologies used in element formulation (for applicable elements).
Mapdl.etdele([ityp1, ityp2, inc])	APDL Command: ETDELE
Mapdl.etlist([ityp1, ityp2, inc])	Lists currently defined element types.
Mapdl.keyopt([itype, knum, value])	APDL Command: KEYOPT
Mapdl.nsvr([itype, nstv])	APDL Command: NSVR
